Samsung One UI Book 4 Announced as Windows 11 Custom Skin: Here’s What You Need to Know

At the Samsung Developer Conference 2021, Samsung made some new announcements. The company announced smart home, OneUI 4.0 for phones and more. However, the company has also made an announcement about its line of Samsung laptops. On stage, Samsung announced One UI Book 4, which is basically a One UI skin for laptops.

Once released, One UI Book 4 will be available for Samsung’s line of laptops, which includes: Galaxy Book Pro 360, Galaxy Book Pro, Galaxy Book Flex 2, Galaxy Book, and Galaxy Book Odyssey. Since Samsung is pushing One UI Book 4 for its laptops, we can also expect Samsung’s upcoming laptops to feature the UI.Samsung One UI Book 4

In fact, this is a custom Samsung skin for laptops running the Windows operating system. Just like a Samsung phone runs on Android-based One UI skin, One UI Book 4 will run on Windows OS. In terms of looks, One UI Book 4 will drastically change the look and feel of Windows computers.

Samsung hasn’t revealed much about the One UI Book 4 at the moment, so we’re not entirely sure how many elements of the Windows OS the UI will retain or how many customizations the new skin will offer. But following Samsung’s OneUI skin for Android smartphones and tablets, we can expect One UI Book 4 to bring Samsung’s aesthetic and design language across the board. Judging by the official video, it looks like Samsung will offer its own settings menu and gallery apps that resemble OneUI elements. Even app icons and settings icons are all consistent with One UI for phone.

With a Samsung smartphone and One UI Book 4 on a Samsung laptop, the user can enjoy more benefits and convenience. As of now, Samsung has not announced a release date for the One UI Book 4 UI.
