Samsung Introduces Galaxy A03 Budget Smartphone With Improved Cameras: Specifications, Features

Samsung has officially unveiled a new entry-level A-series smartphone dubbed the Samsung Galaxy A03. The company has yet to reveal information about the availability and price of the device. However, the brand has detailed all the specifications of the Galaxy A03 in an infographic.

In terms of specifications of this new device, it offers similar features to its Galaxy A02 predecessor but has improved cameras. The Galaxy A03 boasts a 6.5-inch HD+ display. Under the hood, the device runs on an unknown octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz. The smartphone is equipped with a dual camera consisting of a 48-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth camera.

Going into detail about the specifications of the Galaxy A03, the device comes with a 6.5-inch display with HD+ resolution. The display panel has a waterdrop-shaped notch that houses the selfie camera. Under the hood of the device is an unnamed 8-core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz. The smartphone comes with three RAM and storage options which include a 3GB RAM + 32GB model, a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option, and a 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model.

Moving on to the optics department, the A03 has a dual camera on the back. The dual camera module on the back includes a 48-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture. The 48MP sensor is joined by a 2MP depth camera with f/2.4 aperture. On the front of the phone is a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The dimensions of the Galaxy A03 are 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1mm. The device has a 5000 mAh battery. At the moment, it is not yet known whether the device has any support for fast charging. The smartphone has Dolby Atmos sound support. When the device goes on sale, it will be available in black, blue and red colors. As mentioned above, Samsung has yet to announce the pricing and availability of the phone. We can expect the Galaxy A03 to go on sale by the end of this year in select markets.
