Earlier this year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S22 series, which consists of three smartphones – vanilla S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra. During launch, the S22 debuted in three colors: Phantom Black, Phantom White, and Green.
Later, MySmartPrice exclusively revealed that Samsung plans to introduce a new color option for the Galaxy S22. Now, Samsung has released a new Rose Gold color option for the phone in the country. Last month, the South Korean giant also announced a new green color variant for the S22 Ultra. Here’s everything you need to know about the Galaxy S22.

The new Rose Gold color option for the S22 will only be available in one 8GB + 128GB variant, priced at $942. The price is the same as the other color options, and other colors are available in the optional 8GB + 256GB storage option.
Galaxy S22 buyers can purchase Galaxy Buds for $38. Galaxy Note, Galaxy S, Galaxy Z Fold, and Galaxy Z Flip series customers will receive a $103 upgrade incentive, while iPhone 13, iPhone 12, and iPhone 11 purchasers will receive a $90 upgrade bonus. All other device owners will receive a $64 upgrade incentive.
There’s also $64 cashback available when you purchase a Galaxy S22 with a Samsung Finance+ or HDFC Bank credit or debit card.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 features a 6.1-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 48-120Hz variable refresh rate support. Under the hood, the Samsung flagship is powered by a 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
On the front of the camera, there is a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 wide-angle lens with optical image stabilization, a 12MP secondary ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 10MP telephoto lens. Samsung has opted for a 10-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.2 lens.
The phone boots Android 12 based on One UI 4.1 from above. Other features of the smartphone include an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 is powered by a 3700mAh battery that supports wired charging up to 25W and wireless charging up to 15W.
