Splatoon 3 servers down? Check Nintendo Server Status

Splatoon 3 has finally been released on the Nintendo Switch, and it features competitive online multiplayer (PvP and PvE), but if the servers are down, that could get in the way of your plans. Don’t worry, here’s how to check the current Splatoon 3 server status using official Nintendo online data.

Splatoon 3 servers down? Check Nintendo Server Status

Players who start experiencing lag, connection issues, and other glitches during online multiplayer game sessions can check the current Splatoon 3 server status on the Nintendo Network status page. Also known as “Working Status”, players can also check information regarding maintenance as well as schedules for future repairs.

If there is a network failure, you will see Splatoon 3 mentioned on this page, but if not, you will see the message “All servers are working properly”.

Another way to find out if there are server issues in the game is to go to their official Twitter account. Check out @SplatoonNA, which is an officially verified account, or check out the latest hashtag tweets to see if other players are experiencing similar issues.

If you feel like this is your internet connection, please restart your Wi-Fi router and try again.

How long will the servers be down?

It depends on the circumstances – if it’s an unexpected outage, there may not be a fixed time to back up the servers. But if it’s scheduled downtime based on a maintenance schedule, it could be anywhere from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours or more. Please note that a maintenance period does not mean that a new content update is coming – it could also be a bug fix.

This is all about Splatoon 3 server status and how to check if the servers are down.
