Danny Boyle will trace the history of the Sex Pistols on the small screen.
The furious, raging storm at the center of this revolution is the Sex Pistols, and at the center of this series is Sex Pistols founding member and guitarist Steve Jones. Hilarious, emotional and at times harrowing, Jones’ journey takes us through the kaleidoscopic history of three of the most epic, chaotic and messy years in music history. Based on Jones’ memoir, Lonely Boy: Stories from a Sex Gun is the story of a group of violent, hopeless working-class kids who rocked a corrupt and boring establishment to death, threatened to overthrow the government, and changed music and culture forever.
