SHIBArmy has just taken another major step in its quest for worldwide Shiba Inu (SHIB) adoption. BitPay, the world’s largest payment service provider for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, has announced that merchants can now accept shiba inu for payments and customers can buy, store and exchange SHIB worldwide. Although it started out as a simple meme, SHIBArmy, along with AMC and Newegg’s answer, helped SHIB reach the top of the list of coins you can have in your wallet. Its growing popularity has placed SHIB in the top 15 since its launch in May in terms of capitalization on CoinMarketCap just in time for the holiday season.

AMC made the SHIB community happy when they asked if the company should request the addition of SHIB as a payment method. The community has apparently responded in the affirmative, appreciating the value of their corner, and now SHIB owners can spend it at merchants that accept BitPay or where you can purchase a gift card through a BitPay wallet.
In the meantime, Newegg released the official information and ran a huge digital advertising campaign, which was presented, among other things, on The Reef, the largest billboard in North America.
