The Star Wars prequel will be the heart of Tales of the Jedi.
Created and written by Dave Filoni, the six-part television series Jedi Tales is animated in the style of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: The Bad Batch. Each episode will feature Jedi from the time of the prequel trilogy. Half of the episodes will focus on Count Dooku, in particular his transition to the dark side of the Force), the other half on Ahsoka Tano, and some Jedi will play the role of minor characters in short films.

Tales of the Jedi premieres this fall on Disney+. The animated series has the same name as Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi, a maxi comic book sequel to Star Wars Legends published by Dark Horse Comics between 1993 and 1998. Note that the character Qui-Gon Jinn will also be at the center of the episode, especially with a younger version voiced by the son of Liam Neeson, the former Jedi Master’s film interpreter.
