How to unlock tank defense in Slime Rancher 2
As mentioned earlier, you need to get the tank pallet to unlock the tank protection.
- Find and retrieve the pallet in the cave blocked by the Phosphor Gordo slime.
- Take the tank liner to the Fabricator.
- Use it and you will unlock the Tank Guard.
Once you unlock it, find all the resources you need to build a Tank Guard and then use them to build it. Here is how you can get the Tank Liner.
Tank location in Slime Rancher 2
- Go to the center on Rainbow Island.
- Look for a cave where Phosphorus Gordo’s slime is blocking the entrance.
- Now feed the Phosphorus Gordo slime with fruits to make it burst. You can find some fruits outside the cave, so it doesn’t really matter if you take them with you or not.
- After Phosphor Gordo’s Slime bursts, keep going inside the cave.
- Look for the striped slime statue.
- Shoot Tubby Plort at the statue to open and access the door next to it. To get a Tabby Plort, you must feed meat to the Striped Slime.
- Go past the door and find a supply crate.
- Open it and you will get a Tank Liner.
