Snapchat allows subscribers to determine when their Stories expire

Snapchat regularly adds features to its Snapchat+ subscription. Now it’s possible to define the expiration date of Stories.

These additional features for Stories are very useful and are added to motivate users of the platform to purchase a subscription for 3.99 euros per month.

Snapchat increases functionality in its Snapchat+ subscription

Subscribers can control how long their Stories expire. It can range from one hour to one week. This gives creators the opportunity to generate increased interest in a story that is short-lived and ends quickly. Stories with a longer lifespan can draw more attention to themselves. At the default moment, all stories are set to expire 24 hours, after which they must be saved so that they do not disappear forever.

Users can now set the expiration date of Stories

Users with a paid subscription also get access to custom notification sounds, allowing them to customize all sorts of alerts for different interactions. This allows you to determine that so-and-so did something just by hearing the sounds of notifications. New camera front options allow you to use a color picker to capture content. As an added bonus, Snapchat provides “exclusive, seasonal and spooky Bitmoji backgrounds”to use on Halloween profiles.

Snapchat+ got off to a great start: just a few months after the launch, the company announced a million subscribers. Snap is positioning this subscription as a service for enthusiastic users, and while it’s only a small fraction of its 347 million daily users, it’s a significant additional income. Earlier, Snapchat announced the end of production of Pixy Drone, they continue to sell these devices along with smart glasses.
