Silly Royale, one of the most addictive titles from Indian studio SuperGaming, now has over 17 million players worldwide on mobile devices. The game was able to attract 5 million players over the course of three seasons of “Squid Royale”, which was a game mode based on the hit Netflix show “Squid Game”.
Silly Royale has quickly become one of the most popular social games in the country, and the numbers show that it has found common ground across the world. SuperGaming has divided the top territories by the number of players, and this list includes countries such as the United States, Brazil, Argentina and Italy.
“The most amazing fact was that our players are using Silly Royale as a space to chat with friends, having racked up over 165 million voice minutes since we introduced the feature,” says Christel D’Cruz, General Manager and Co-Founder at Supergaming. “We love how our players interacted with the original game modes, as well as their reaction to Squid Royale.”
Silly Royale is hitting big numbers with over 17 million players worldwide
Silly Royale and SUperGaming have recently closed the chapter on Squid Royale and the last season has recently come to an end. The game features many of the games featured in Netflix shows such as Red Light, Green Light, Cell Dalgon and Tug of War.
SuperGaming still has big plans for the Silly Royale community with the introduction of the “Silly Royale Creators Program”designed to grow the content creator community. Through the program, future creators will be able to host and share their content with an ever-growing player base of 17 million players worldwide through social media and Silly Royale product channels.
The Pune-based studio is also working on another exciting game, Indus, an Indian battle royale for mobile, PC and consoles.
