Sonic Frontiers: How to Make a Chillup

Cyloop is one of the most important moves you have to learn in Sonic Frontiers. While you could do it directly in some previous games, in this game you have to unlock it first. But cyloop is definitely worth getting as it is easy to make and has many uses. So, without further ado, let’s check out how to loop in Sonic Frontiers and how to unlock it.

How to make a Chillup in Sonic Frontiers

You can cycle through the area by running in circles after unlocking the skill. We’ll get to how you can unlock it a bit later. As you begin to cycle, you can watch Sonic leave a trail of blue behind him. As the name suggests, you need to run a full circle and make a loop out of it. When the loop is correct, you can see the circle turn pink.

This is a great mechanic to use in combat. When used on smaller enemies, it launches and suspends them in the air for a short time. Giving you the opportunity to attack them. But most of all it is used against enemies who have a strong defense that covers themselves with armor. Sailup them to lower their defense and leave them vulnerable to your attacks.

Besides combat, you can use it to solve puzzles. You can also use it on various objects in the environment. Finally, one of the good uses is open fields. Make a loop in such places to reveal hidden rings.

If you haven’t unlocked it, here’s how you can do it.

How to unlock Cyloop

You can unlock Cyloop by spending 1 skill point in the skill tree. The best part is that this is the first skill in the tree and is the easiest to acquire compared to other skills. To gain skill points, you must beat any smaller enemies you encounter. When defeated, they drop blue glowing items known as skill parts. After you collect enough skill items, you will receive 1 skill point.
