Realme 9 Pro Plus camera specs leaked ahead of February 16th launch

Realme is getting ready to launch the 9 series. The company launched the Realme 9i as its first smartphone under the new number series. On February 16, the company will launch Realme 9 Pro and Pro Plus.

Realme has confirmed some of the key specs of the device. However, some key details remain under wraps. A new leak from whistleblower Yogesh Brar has revealed the details of the camera sensor of the upcoming Realme 9 Pro Plus. Realme 9 Pro Camera

Realme has confirmed that the 9 Pro Plus will have a triple rear camera setup. The phone is also confirmed to be equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor. The company has not officially announced the camera specifications of the other two sensors.

Tipster Brar revealed that the Pro Plus model will feature an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. Realme will use the Sony IMX355 sensor for the ultra-wide camera. It will have a 119-degree field of view and an f/2.25 aperture. On the other hand, the main camera will offer optical image stabilization (OIS), which was previously confirmed by the brand.

The phone will have a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel front camera with support for electronic image stabilization (EIS). Here Realme will use the Sony IMX471 sensor.

Other details of the device have been leaked or have been confirmed in the past. The Pro+ model will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC. It will come with 65W fast charging support for a 4500mAh battery.

The phone is rumored to feature a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It will be released in three colors: Sunrise Blue, Green and Glittery Red. According to a previous leak, the phone will have a starting price of $279. It will have 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage.

There will also be a standard 9 Pro with a large 6.59-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC and pack a 5,000mAh battery. The device will support 33W fast charging. There will be a 64MP triple camera on the back. Both devices will run Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12.
