Seasons was one of the most interesting parts of Destiny 2 before its release a few years ago. Since your clan’s progress is being reset, knowing the start and end dates of seasons is very important for players. So, today we’re going to be looking at all the start and end dates for all of the seasons on our list of Destiny 2 seasons.
In addition, each new season brings special new content and major changes to D2. The new season also adds new story content and related quests to keep you interested and wanting more from the developers.
Release and end dates for all seasons in the Destiny 2 seasons list
All content in Destiny 2 is delivered to players as new “seasons”in a “year”. Each “Year”contains 4 seasons, with the exception of “Year 1″which only had 3 seasons. Therefore, seasons are a way for developers to add new gameplay elements and tweak or remove the least liked ones. Also note that the start of a new Destiny 2 “year”coincides with the release of a major DLC expansion, with the exception of the Curse of Osiris and Warmind releases. - Warm Mind (5/8/18)
- Forsaken (09/04/18)
- Season of the Forge
- Season of the Drifter
- season of abundance

- Season of the Worthy
- arrival season
- Beyond the Light (11/10/20)
