Salmon Run ranks explained in Splatoon 3

The ranking system in Salmon Run is very different from other Splatoon game modes. Depending on the level of your work, you get a position or rank. Check out these points to learn more about these ranks:

  • There are 5 professions or ranks in Splatoon 3:
    • Intern – includes 2 textbooks
    • Student
    • part-time
    • Getter
    • excellent student
    • Profreshional – includes 4 levels: (0-99), (100-199), (200-299) and (300-999)
  • Trainees eventually become pros once their stats increase. Each successful shift (wave) increases your statistics by 20 points.
  • The change is considered successful after the required number of golden eggs has been collected.
  • In Splatoon 3, waves become more difficult as you level up in Salmon Run.
  • The rank indicator changes when you lose in a wave:
    • Wave 1 – Losing in the first wave reduces the indicator by 20 points. Disconnecting in the middle of the wave will reduce the stat by 10 points. Basically, losing a match with a disabled player cuts the total stats earned by half.
    • Wave 2 – Losing in the second wave reduces the indicator by 10 points. Shutdown in the middle of the second wave will reduce it by half, which will be 5 points.
    • Wave 3 – no change in statistics.
  • Positions or ranks in Salmon Run also provide a percentage of salary that is added to the score at the end of each wave. It also helps to earn bonuses faster.
  • With an increase in the statistics of a position or rank by 20 points, the percentage of wages increases by 5%.
  • At the end of each wave, you receive Grizzco points (p), which are calculated as follows:
  • Grizzco Points = Job Score (Total Golden Eggs + Total Power Eggs divided by 200) times each player’s salary percentage.

That’s all you need to know about how rank is determined in Salmon Run in Splatoon 3.
