Directed by Tim Burton and written by Al Gough and Miles Millar for the streaming platform Netflix, Wednesday bills itself as a dark coming-of-age comedy. The main character is played by American comedian Jenna Ortega (Fallout, American Massacre, Jurassic World – Cretaceous Camp), who, with her stern face and characteristic braids, is at the center of the family.
