In Starship Troopers: Extermination, developed by Offworld Industries in collaboration with Sony Pictures Consumer Products, twelve players (divided into squads of four to defend a base) are sent to the far front lines to represent the Deep Space Vanguard unit’s special forces in an assault on the planet’s arachnid menace. Valak. They will work together to complete objectives, harvest resources, build and defend the base of operations, and then run together to the extraction point. Players will be greeted by a map with five unique zones and swarm battles with hundreds of enemy insects:
Choose from the Assault, Support, and Defend classes that best suit your play style and support the rest of your team. Build walls, towers, ammo and more using resources mined from refineries around the planet. Unlock new weapons, equipment and abilities for each class to become the elite fighter among the vanguard of space. Meet drone, warrior, shooter, plasma grenadier and tiger elite during missions on the planet. Increasing the insect threat level during missions allows you to face larger and more dangerous enemies. Take back the bases and refineries, destroy the hives and complete a variety of secondary tasks to wrest control of the map from the threat of insects. Communication is the key to victory.
