Many players are eager to test out the new and classic moves for every character in Street Fighter 6, which has officially been released. Yet, aside from that, many devoted gamers desire to test out SF6’s EX Special Moves. Players are anticipating using Extra Special maneuvers against their opponents because they have been a staple of all previous SF games. Players are uncertain, however, as to whether they can pull off this unique combo with the recently introduced Drive mechanic system. Don’t worry, you can learn how to perform EX Moves in Street Fighter 6 by reading our guide.

In SF6, Overdrive attacks have taken the place of EX Special attacks. By simultaneously hitting two buttons of the same type, you can perform an Overdrive or EX move when performing a special move. For instance, when performing a Special Move, tapping the Light Punch and Heavy Punch buttons. You will immediately lose two drive gauges due to this.

In Street Fighter 6, here is how to execute an EX or Overdrive move:

  • Execute Special Move + Two same attack type moves
  • Taking Manon’s Moveset as an example:
    • Renverse (Down > Forward > Forward + Punch) + Light Kick (Cross) + Heavy Kick (R2)

This is the only way to use Overdrive Art, despite the fact that the controls of the Classic and Modern settings may be different. The Overdrive attack is a combination of special attacks, much like the EX Special moves in earlier SF games. When it hits your opponent, this combo can severely harm them. Yet doing so will cost you two drive gauges.

The execution of EX Moves in Street Fighter 6 is complete after that.
