Sucker Punch: inFamous and Sly Cooper licenses will remain in the closet

No new opuses for inFamous and Sly Cooper on PS5 right away.

For several months now, insiders have staunchly claimed that a new Sly Cooper was in development, likely on the side of PixelOpus to promote a potential animated series, and inFamous was to return with a remaster. Two pieces of information that are now proven to be completely false due to a recent press release published by US studio Sucker Punch: “As our games continue to grow in scope and complexity, they require our studio’s full attention. As we are focused on our current project, we currently have no plans to return to Sly Cooper or inFamous and no other studios are currently working on any projects related to our licenses. inFamous 2 servers will be updated

Sucker Punch is also announcing a sequel still active for older inFamous games, but didn’t expect the new content to cost that much: “We’ll be doing some maintenance on the UGC inFamous 2 servers soon to move them to the new one. home, which will make them walk a little longer. We will eventually have to decommission them, but we want them to last as long as possible for the players who are still active. We are also working to ensure that inFamous Second Son’s Cole’s Legacy DLC (previously only available in the Collector’s Edition) will be available on the PlayStation Store in all territories for those who missed it.”
