Humans and AI must coexist and cooperate in order to survive in the dystopian futuristic world of SYNDUALITY.
In SYNDUALITY, players and an intelligent mech named Magus explore a dystopian world in the year 2222. A catastrophic downpour known as the “Tears of the New Moon”nearly wiped out the human race – the survivors took refuge in the underground city of Amasya. In order to survive, the protagonist named “Rogue”must sell AO Crystals, which can only be collected in a polluted world. To travel, they drive an armed vehicle called the Cradle Coffin that they can customize. Bandai Namco’s sci-fi shooter will also have a unique PvP option, where online play lets you meet other people on their own missions.

Yosuke Futami, Producer of Bandai Namco says:
SYNDUALITY is a project we can’t wait to introduce players to. We worked with well-known designers such as Neco for character design and Ippei Gyoubu for mecha design, as well as the Game Studio team, to develop an engaging shooter with strong gameplay that emphasizes the relationship between AI and humans. The bond that develops between players and their Mage will affect the game and the story.
The universe of SYNDUALITY will be replenished with an animated series
Animation studio Eight Bit is responsible for the sequel to SYNDUALITY in anime form.
Tears of the New Moon”was a great calamity when the poisonous “Bluish”rain fell upon the world, which is deadly if caught in it. After more than 100 years, humanity has finally begun to overcome the catastrophe. In The Nest, colonies are scattered across a devastated world. In the devastated world of the Nest colonies, those who live hard are close. The humanoid Meigas, equipped with a double-thinking AI, was found near those who somehow lived in the devastated world. The year was… 2242 A.D. Meigas, who fell asleep with no memory of his past, woke up in 2242 AD.
