The Pova Neo is an entry-level phone powered by a MediaTek Helio core processor. The phone was announced last month in Nigeria and costs 72,500 Nigerian Naira, which is about $176. Let’s take a closer look at the specifications and features of Tecno Pova Neo.
Specifications and features of Tecno Pova Neo
The Pova Neo features a 6.82-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720×1640 pixels. This is a standard panel with a 60Hz refresh rate that supports 120Hz touch sampling rate. The phone has a waterdrop notch that houses the front camera.
Under the hood of the phone is a MediaTek Helio G25 octa-core processor. Helio G25 is an entry-level processor equipped with a PowerVR GE8320 integrated GPU. This is the same processor used in several other entry-level devices such as Redmi 9A, Infinix Smart 5 and Nokia G10.
Pova Neo offers a 13MP dual rear camera with LED flash. The secondary sensor on the device is an artificial intelligence lens. The smartphone also features an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
Tecno Pova Neo is powered by a 6000mAh rechargeable battery with 18W fast charging support. The phone has a Type-C port for charging and data transfer. In addition, the device also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Pova Neo measures 171.39×77.25×9.1mm. It comes in three color options: Geek blue, Obsidian, and Powehi. The smartphone is said to come in a 6GB + 128GB configuration. Tecno can also provide a pair of TWS earphones for free along with Pova Neo.
