Tecno is gearing up to launch the Tecno Spark 8 Pro phone. The Spark 8 Pro might not be the only upcoming phone from the brand, as a new leak suggests Tecno could launch the Pova Neo next month in the country thanks to Passionate Geekz. For those who don’t know, the Pova Neo is an entry-level phone that debuted earlier this month in Nigeria.
The leaked poster shows the phone in black and blue color options and confirms that the device will come in a 6GB + 128GB configuration. The poster also shows that the company can provide a free pair of Rs. 1,499 headphones as a freebie to Pova Neo customers. Also, popular actor Ayushman Khurana can be seen in the leaked poster endorsing the device.
Tecno Pova Neo Specifications, specifications and price
The Pova Neo boasts a 6.8-inch HD+ display with 720×1640 resolution and 120Hz sampling rate. The display houses the front-facing selfie camera inside a waterdrop notch. The Pova Neo is powered by an entry-level MediaTek Helio G25 octa-core processor and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. This is the same system on a chip used in Redmi 9A, Infinix Smart 5, Nokia G10 and others.
The phone is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. It boots Android 11 with a proprietary HiOS shell. The device flaunts dual rear cameras along with a quad flash setup. The main shooter in the phone is a 13MP sensor that is paired with an AI lens. For selfies and video calls, it offers an 8-megapixel camera with dual front flash.
Pova Neo is equipped with a 6000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. It has a Type-C charging port, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a fingerprint scanner on the back. It measures 171.39×77.25×9.1mm and is available in Obsidian, Geek blue, and Powehi color options.
