This textured iPhone wallpaper is available in multiple materials and colors. Apple almost gave us the ability to touch these images with a decade-old patent that never came to light.

Sometimes grainy, but always tactile, textured wallpapers give the iPhone a visually appealing playfulness. Unlike a perfectly smooth glass screen, these images beg your brain to experience them.
I do remember that over a decade ago there were rumors that Apple would bring the “feel”of texture to their devices. In fact, they filed a patent in 2012 that describes this intent. It would be incredible technology. According to the Apple patent:
the glass surface may be at a temperature relative to the colder metal material and/or relative to the warmer wood material. In some cases, temperature control may be performed using data from one or more temperature sensors that determine the temperature of the touch surface. In such cases, the temperature control device can be adjusted based on the data to adjust the temperature of the touch surface.
While you may not be able to feel this wallpaper, just think how crazy it would be if Apple put this patent into production. If that were the case, then my favorite is the gray concrete wallpaper below. First, I really like the textured look and the minimal color palette. But if you could feel the texture and the jagged edges, it would be an incredible experience.
