Tesla Cybertruck will be released in 2023 and the brand has many more surprises.
Tesla will finally start selling its long-awaited Cybertruck next year. This was announced by Elon Musk during the opening ceremony of the plant manufacturer Giga Texas. During the presentation, the CEO also showed off the Cybertruck, which will actually sell.
Tesla Cybertruck will go on sale in 2023
It is very similar to the versions previously shown, except that there are no longer handles on the doors. The vehicle will also be able to know that you are there and then know that it should open the doors. The American billionaire also apologized for the delay in marketing the Cybertruck, a vehicle that was announced in 2019. The original (and overly optimistic) launch window was in 2021, but that has been pushed back to 2022, and today to 2023.
The automaker will build the Cybertruck at its Gigafactory in Texas, which is expected to be the “largest”car manufacturing plant in the United States. Elon Musk also spoke about his other Gigafactories projects around the world and how producing cars near their points of sale is better for the environment. So this year we’re talking about scaling up on a scale that, in the words of Elon Musk, “no company has ever achieved in the history of mankind.”And next year will also be the occasion for the launch of “a huge wave of new products.”
and the brand has many more surprises to reveal
In addition to the Cybertruck, the company also plans to launch the Tesla Semi EV next year, as well as a number of other products that have yet to be unveiled. A large electric vehicle designed to transport goods over long distances was supposed to go on sale in 2019, but its launch has been delayed several times. According to Elon Musk, the humanoid robot Optimus is due to enter production in 2023 and will be tasked with performing tasks that humans cannot. Another upcoming product is a specialized robot taxi, which should also have a very futuristic design. But first, Tesla must launch a beta version of its full self-driving technology in North America. The launch is expected before the end of the year.
