The latest version of the famous life simulator from the American studio Maxis has more than 70 million players worldwide.
Of the 70 million Sims 4 players, at least 16 million are playing the free version, available from October 2022 on consoles and PC. Maxis reports that 75% of new unique players are based outside of North America, in growth regions such as Brazil, France, Germany, the UK and Poland, with an average weekly user increase of 53%.

Grow Together Expansion Is The Best Sims 4 Launch Week Ever
Between March 16 and March 23, Growing Together expansion week saw more sales than any other expansion release in the week since The Sims 4 expansions were released. This latest expansion introduces much-requested gameplay features focusing on family dynamics, new life stages, and milestone features as players experience new chapters in their Sims’ lives. Since the release of the free expansion and the base game update for babies, players have created over 8.6 million baby sims in the game, built 1.7 million new homes worldwide in San Sequoia, and completed 27.1 million stages across all platforms, including 12.
