The Witcher 3 will be released next December on nextgen

Geralt de Reeve will return to the Continent of The Witcher license at the end of the year on consoles and PC.

Polish studio CD Projekt RED announces that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition will be available for digital purchase on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC, along with all free DLC released to date and two major extensions, namely Hearts. stone and blood and wine. In addition, a free next-gen update will be available to anyone who owns the PS4, Xbox One, and PC version of The Witcher 3. Finally, the physical edition will be released following the digital launch of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition, a date to be announced at a later date.

The next-gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will release on December 14 and will be free for anyone who already owns the game.

A spokesman for CD Projekt RED said:

Optimized for next generation consoles and modern PC hardware, the new version of our award-winning RPG will include dozens of visual, technical and technical improvements over the original. These include support for ray tracing, faster load times on consoles, and many mods to improve the experience, among many others. These improvements, as well as bonus content dedicated to the Netflix series The Witcher, will be discussed next week at a special REDstreams event on Twitch, where our developers will show gameplay from the next generation version of The Witcher 3.
