iPhone supports controllers to play a variety of games from both Apple Arcade and the App Store. This also means that it also supports controller attachment accessories like the one Backbone makes. And now, for fans of the PlayStation brand from Sony, there is a whole new opportunity.
This is a brand new version of Backbone One – PlayStation Edition. Unlike the standard Backbone controller accessory, this accessory is white. According to Backbone, the company worked closely with the folks at PlayStation to develop this new app for the Backbone One controller, and it’s inspired by the PlayStation 5’s DualSense wireless controller.
Interestingly, Backbone says you can directly connect Sony’s PULSE 3D headset to the Backbone One – PlayStation Edition, which means you can get even better sound while playing your games on your iPhone.
Not surprisingly, this collaboration between the companies is also meant to promote not only the physical connection of the controller, but also the service. In this case, PlayStation offers a PS Remote Play feature that allows gamers to play their games on the go:

Inside the app, you’ll see various PlayStation® integrations such as custom glyphs representing iconic PlayStation® shapes and the ability to view hundreds of PlayStation® games.
