It looks like Micromax is gearing up to launch a new entry-level phone in its In lineup, the Micromax In 2C. The phone was spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database back in July, but it hasn’t launched yet. Now in new development, detailed specs and renders of the upcoming Micromax In 2C have now surfaced online thanks to Sudhanshu Ambhore.
The leaked renders confirm that the In 2C will feature the design language previously used on the Micromax In 1b. In terms of specs, the phone will come with a Unisoc T610 processor, dual rear cameras, and a large HD+ display. The Micromax In 2C will have a design language similar to that of the In 1b. This means the phone will offer a large waterdrop display and a large chin. On the back of the device, a rectangular camera module will be placed in the upper left corner, which will house a dual camera. The phone can be sold in two colors – silver and gray.

The Micromax In 2C will offer a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio and a peak brightness of 400 nits. The device can be powered by an octa-core Unisoc T610 processor paired with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB emmc 5.1 storage. Micromax’s upcoming entry-level smartphone may ship with an older version of Android, Android 11.
As can be seen from the renders, the Micromax In 2C will feature a dual rear camera setup including an 8MP primary sensor and a VGA sensor. For selfies and video calls, it is said to offer a 5MP sensor inside the waterdrop notch. The phone is said to come with a 5,000mAh battery and 10W charging support.
The Micromax In 2C is said to offer a dedicated micro-SD card slot, a Type-C charging port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone will not have a fingerprint scanner. It is also said to offer a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor, and an accelerometer.
