Oppo Reno 8 SE tech specs leak: expected to feature MediaTek Dimensity 1300, 50MP triple camera and more features

Oppo is gearing up to launch Oppo Reno 8 series devices in the Chinese market. The Reno 8 series is expected to consist of three devices – Oppo Reno 8, Oppo Reno 8 Pro, and Oppo Reno 8 SE. Ahead of the launch, Oppo Reno 8 SE specifications have surfaced online, courtesy of 91mobiles. Based on the leaked specs, the upcoming Oppo Reno 8 SE will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor and a 4,500mAh battery.

Oppo’s upcoming phone appears to be a rebadged OnePlus Nord 2T. Let’s take a closer look at the leaked Oppo Reno 8 SE specs.

Specifications Oppo Reno8 SE

The Oppo Reno 8 SE is said to feature a 6.43-inch LED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. The phone can be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1300 octa-core processor, manufactured using TSMC’s 6nm process technology. The system on a chip has an integrated Mali G77 GPU.

In terms of optics, the Reno8 SE will reportedly feature a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. In addition to that, there could be an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP secondary sensor. The phone is said to have a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The Reno 8 SE is said to pack a 4,500mAh battery and support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. The report also suggests that the brand may offer another variant of the Reno8 SE with 65W fast charging. The upcoming Reno series device is said to be booting ColorOS 12 based on Android 12.

The Reno8 SE will offer an in-display fingerprint scanner and a stereo speaker setup. However, it won’t offer a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone is said to be offered in 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options.
