This year, Apple will release at least 4 new Macs with the M2 chip. But what are these cars?
The Apple Silicon M1 chip is just over a year old. The Cupertino-based company launched its first M1 Macs in late 2020 and released variants of this M1 chip in 2021 with the M1 Pro and M1 Max versions. This year, Apple will release at least 4 new Macs with the M2 chip.
If the latest newsletter from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman is to be believed, we can expect no fewer than four new Mac M2s to arrive in 2022. new generations of MacBook Air and Mac mini, devices that were part of the original M1 line. Therefore, it is quite logical that they were among the first to receive the right to the M2 chip.
But what are these cars?
The Cupertino-based company was previously rumored to be launching a 27-inch iMac Pro as well as a new Mac Pro computer, but these machines are expected to feature even more powerful variants of the M1 chip. Therefore, it is difficult to say exactly which two more M2 vehicles will arrive.
In any case, if you’re thinking about getting a new Mac and don’t necessarily have a lot of power, it might be worth waiting for the official announcement of these machines with Apple’s Silicon M2 chip. At least see what modifications and new features the Apple brand has planned for its machines. Otherwise, you can use the current versions with the M1 chip, a chip that has already demonstrated the extent of its capabilities in many ways.
