Motorola Moto G52: what it might look like

Motorola will release the Moto G52 later this year in select markets. Ahead of the launch, some key details of the phone have been leaked online. A new report by 91Mobiles and whistleblower Evan Blass has leaked key design details of the Motorola smartphone. The device is codenamed Rhode. It will be a mid-range smartphone without 5G network support. Thus, we can expect the device to debut in India for less than Rs 15,000. Blass claims that the phone will feature the Snapdragon 680 SoC.

The informant also listed the main characteristics of the device. The phone will have a cutout in the top center for the front camera. Blass claims the phone will feature a 6.55-inch Full HD+ display. It will be an OLED panel with 90Hz refresh rate support. While the side and top bezels are thin, the chin is slightly thicker.

There is a triple camera on the back of the phone. The text on the camera module confirms the main camera sensor information. Motorola will release a device with a 50-megapixel main camera sensor. It will be accompanied by an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there will be a 16MP front camera.

The device will be released in three colors – black, white and blue. It will have two speakers and a USB Type-C port. On the right edge of the phone are the power and volume keys. Blass also claims the phone will launch with 4GB/6GB of RAM along with 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. The device will be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. There is no word yet on support for fast charging. Finally, the phone will run Android 12 out of the box and is expected to run MyUX on top of it.
