In Valorant, communication is paramount. While you can communicate via text messages or speak directly through the microphone, there is another way to speak – through your characters. Luckily, this is possible if you tweak a couple of settings – here’s how to get your agent/character to speak in Valorant.
How to make your agent/character talk in Valorant
- Launch the game and go to the game settings.
- Click on the controls.
- Next, click Communication.
- Scroll down to the radio command menu.
- Make sure you have a key selected for the radio command menu pointer. By default, this will be Num. (period). You can change it here if you like.
- Scroll down until you see the radio control wheel.
- Then make sure you have the buttons assigned to the radio control pointer, combat/tactical radio control.
- Close settings.
- Now you can click the button. key on your keyboard to make your agent/character speak in Valorant.
- When you press the button, you will see an open “Communication”tab in the lower right corner of the game screen.
- You will see 4 options – “Combat”, “Tactics”, “Communication”and “Strategy”.
- Press and hold the dot button, and then press the corresponding number for a particular category.
- You will now see a command wheel with words like Hello, Yes, Thank you, Sorry, No, etc.
- Use your mouse to highlight the word you want to say and click on it with the left mouse button.
