Vivo S12 Pro color options, specifications leaked: for Dimensity 1200 SoC feature, 50MP front, 108MP triple rear cameras

Vivo is ready to launch the Vivo S12 series in China on December 22nd. The upcoming Vivo S12 series is rumored to include two devices namely Vivo S12 and Vivo S12 Pro. Ahead of the official launch, Vivo has shared a teaser video regarding the Vivo S12 lineup. The latest teaser from Vivo confirms the color variants of the Vivo S12 series. Apart from the color variant details, we also have the Vivo S12 Pro specifications provided by the Weibo consultant. According to the leaked specs, the Vivo S12 Pro will feature a Dimensity 1200 SoC that will be accompanied by up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

According to the leak, the Vivo S12 Pro will sport a 6.5-inch OLED display. The display panel is expected to offer Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. In terms of software, the phone is rated to run Android 12 out of the box with the OriginOS Ocean UI at the top. The device is rumored to feature Dimensity 1200 SoC technology under the hood. The smartphone can have up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

As for the imaging department, Vivo S12 Pro could have a triple camera setup. The triple camera module may include a 108MP main sensor that may have OIS support. The 108MP sensor is supposed to be paired with an 8MP OmniVision OV8856 ultra wide-angle lens and a 2MP black and white lens. It is speculated that there will be a dual camera setup on the front of the device for selfies. The front of the smartphone may house a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens.

Vivo S12 Pro can accommodate a 4300 mAh battery. The device is rumored to support 44W fast charging. In terms of pricing, the 12GB RAM + 256GB model should retail for CNY 3,499 (Rs 41,800). The smartphone will be released in gold, blue and black color variants, according to a teaser released by Vivo.
