Realme introduced the Realme GT Neo 3 smartphone a couple of weeks ago in the Chinese market. Right after the launch in China, Realme VP Madhav Sheth hinted at a possible global launch of the device. The GT Neo 3 is expected to launch this month in the country. The GT Neo 3 has now received BIS certification, hinting at a launch soon.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav was the first to spot the listing and claims that the GT Neo 3 will launch in 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB variants. Let’s take a closer look at the specifications and features of the Realme GT Neo 3.
Specifications and features of Realme GT Neo 3
GT Neo 3 features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 1000Hz touch sampling rate and 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio. It has a cutout in the center and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protective glass.
The GT Neo 3 is based on the eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, manufactured using a 5-nanometer process technology. The system-on-a-chip includes an integrated Mali G510 GPU, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. The phone boots Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 out of the box.
The GT Neo 3 offers a triple rear camera and LED flash. The main sensor of the device is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilization and f/1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, a 16-megapixel front camera is provided.
GT Neo 3 comes in two configurations: with a 5000mAh battery and 80W fast charging. While the other variant has a 4500mAh battery with 150W fast charging. It offers a Type-C charging port, an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, and a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. Its dimensions are 163.3 × 75.6 × 8.2 mm and it weighs 188 grams.
