Netflix is wrapping up the first day of filming for the third season of The Witcher, an adaptation of the novels by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski.
The second season of The Witcher on Netflix reveals the true power of Ciri, Child of the Old Blood, capable of opening portals to other worlds and unleashing terrible monsters on the continent. In Season 3, the adventure continues with new twists: “While the monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent vie to capture her, Geralt leads Ciri away from Cintra and into hiding, determined to protect her newly reunited family from those who threaten to destroy her. Charged with teaching Ciri magic, Yennefer leads them to the sheltered fortress of Arethusa, where she hopes to discover the girl’s new untapped powers. Instead, they find themselves on a battlefield rife with political corruption, dark magic, and betrayal. They must defend themselves, put everything on the line – otherwise they risk losing themselves forever. ”
Episodes of the third season of The Witcher television series will be directed by Stephen Surjik (Reacher, The Umbrella Academy), Ganja Monteiro (Brand New Cherry Taste, Chi), Loni Peristere (American Horror Story, A Series of Accidents ”) and Bol. Ogun (Resurrection of Dion, Lucifer).
