The fifteen-minute video touches on key features exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro, with the exception of those available on non-professional models, such as SOS emergency assistance via satellite and serious car accident detection.
Harris opens the video introducing us to the hardware, then moves on to software, gestures, and the usual tricks to customize the phone to your liking.
This includes creating lock screens and linking them to different focus modes, customizing the home screen, and so on. He also highlights useful iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max accessories and shares some of the best iOS 16 tips.
Keep in mind that your experience with the iPhone 14 Pro out of the box may not be what you’re used to. First, the version of iOS 16 preloaded on the first batch of these phones contains bugs that can cause issues with activation, migration, and iMessage. This can be resolved by updating to iOS 16.0.1 during setup or after the fact.
Apple said it will release another iOS 16 software update next week to fix other bugs, including severe camera shake and rattling sound when using third-party apps like Snapchat, and excessive permission requests for pasting from the clipboard.
