Vivo has launched its first T series smartphone. The company has launched the Vivo T1 5G for less than $265. The device is a low-cost 5G-enabled smartphone and comes with three storage options. It is available for purchase from today through Flipkart and Vivo E-store.

Vivo T1 5G comes in three storage options. The phone has 128 GB of internal memory as standard. The base variant with 4 GB of RAM costs $212. It also comes with 6GB and 8GB of RAM. The 6GB variant is $226 and the 8GB variant is $266. It is available in two colors: Rainbow Fantasy and Starlight Black.

Specifications and features

The Vivo T1 5G features a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400. The screen is an IPS LCD with a waterdrop notch on the top for the front camera. It comes with Snapdragon 695 SoC under the hood. The 5G chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The sub-$266 budget smartphone also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and support for AI-assisted face unlock. There is a triple camera on the back. The phone has a 50 MP main camera sensor. It doesn’t have an ultra-wide sensor, but instead comes with two 2MP sensors for depth sensing and macro photography. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera sensor.

The device runs Android 12 out of the box and has a Funtouch OS 12 layer on top of Android. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging out of the box.
