Vivo has teased the launch of its new T series. The company will launch the first smartphone of the Vivo T series on February 9, the same day that Redmi announces its Note 11 series. The first smartphone to debut in the Vivo T series is the T1 5G.

The device was launched in China last year. Vivo has posted the T1 5G event page on its official website. The landing page confirms some key features of the upcoming Vivo smartphone. Let’s take a look at the specifications and features of Vivo T1 5G ahead of its official launch.

Vivo T1 5G launch details

Vivo T1 5G will be a mid-range smartphone from the company. Depending on the specs offered, the phone can cost around $335.

The event page confirms that the Vivo T1 5G variant will have a rectangular camera module with a triple camera on the back. It will also have a cooling system and a “Turbo Screen”hinting at high refresh rate support.

The China variant comes with a 120Hz refresh rate panel. It also features a triple camera on the back. In all likelihood, the T1 5G variant will feature a 64MP main camera sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The phone will have a 16-megapixel front camera.

On the front, there is a 6.67-inch display with a resolution of Full HD + 1080 x 2400 pixels. It will have an LCD panel, unlike some phones with an AMOLED panel in the sub-$335 price range.

Under the hood, the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 778G SoC. The China variant comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. We can expect the same from the T1 models for India.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. It comes with Android 11 out of the box and is expected to have a Funtouch OS 12 layer on top. The phone also has a 3.5mm audio jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. What do you think of the upcoming Vivo smartphone? Let us know in the comments below.
