Vivo has launched a new Y-series smartphone. The company has unveiled the Vivo Y01, an entry-level smartphone. The Y01 is a new smartphone that costs less than $129. The device comes in two color options and one storage configuration.

As expected, Vivo’s latest budget smartphone comes with a polycarbonate back. The phone has a rather thin body. It is equipped with a powerful 5000 mAh battery. Vivo Y01 Price and Specs

Vivo Y01 is a new budget smartphone launched in India for under $129. The device was launched in one variant with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Its price is $116. The phone is also available in two colors: elegant black and sapphire blue. Those who wish can head to the Vivo online store or retail stores to buy the Y01 starting today.

In terms of specifications, the Y01 features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The phone has a waterdrop notch at the top for the front camera. There are fairly thin bezels around the screen, with the exception of a thick chin. Since this is an entry-level offering, the Y01 display supports the standard 60Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. The chipset is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. As befits budget smartphones, there is support for memory expansion through the microSD card slot. Users can expand storage up to 1TB using a microSD card.

The phone has a 5000 mAh battery. It supports 10W charging out of the box. As for the camera, the phone has a single camera sensor on the back. On the back is an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash. For selfies and video calls, the phone is equipped with a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture.
