Vivo has launched a new budget Y-series smartphone Vivo Y21G. The latest Y-series device features a 6.51-inch LCD screen, 5000mAh battery, 13MP dual camera, and more. The specifications of the device were leaked hours before the official launch.

The Vivo Y21G only comes in one storage option – 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, priced at $184. It will be available from today on Vivo’s official store and all partner retail stores. The device is available in two color options – Midnight Blue and Diamond Glow.

Vivo Y21G features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. On the front, there is a waterdrop notch that houses the selfie camera. The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6769 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The RAM of the device can be expanded up to 1 GB thanks to Virtual RAM technology.
In terms of camera, Vivo Y21G will offer dual rear cameras paired with LED flash. It has a 13MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8-megapixel camera on the front. The device’s camera feature includes HDR, super macro, and personalized portrait mode.
The phone is powered by a 5000mAh rechargeable battery that supports 18W fast charging via Type-C. The phone will run FunTouchOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box. Vivo Y21G is 8mm thick and weighs about 182 grams. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, and more.
