Vivo Y7x coming soon with MediaTek Helio G96 SoC and 120Hz display

Starting from 2022, Vivo has released a lot of new smartphones, including Vivo Y55 5G, Y21A and Y75. A fresh new report shows that the company is gearing up to launch a new smartphone dubbed the Vivo Y7x.

The upcoming Vivo smartphone will reportedly feature a 120Hz display, MediaTek Helio G96 chipset, and boot Android 11 out of the box. Let’s take a closer look at the Vivo Y7x, its specs and everything we know so far.

Vivo Y7x will be launched in early March 2022

According to a PassionateGeekz report, the Vivo Y7x could arrive in the country in late February or early March. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.44-inch Full HD+ display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood of the device is reportedly a MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, a 4G capable chipset, up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The device is said to have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor built into the power button for biometrics. The Y7x will run Android 11 based Funtouch OS out of the box.

While other specs remain a mystery, for now, the phone is believed to compete with Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 11 4G and cost less than Rs 18,000 in the country.

Vivo Y75 5G, released earlier, is equipped with a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. In terms of optics, the phone features a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP depth lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.

The smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, as well as 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. Vivo Y75 5G comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
