Apple will release seven new Macs in 2022. A choice for every need and every budget.
If you’re looking for a new Mac in 2022, you’re in luck because it looks like this year will be one of the richest in terms of Apple computer updates. At least that’s what Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman reports in his latest Power On newsletter.
Apple to release seven new Macs in 2022
If we are to believe our man, who is often well-informed about everything related to the Cupertino company’s ecosystem, it would seem that at least seven new Macs should be expected before the end of this 2022. powerful Mac mini with Apple Silicon M1 Pro chip and another model with M2 chip. An update to the 2020 13-inch MacBook Pro is also expected, this time with the M2 chip.
A choice for every need and every budget
Customers will also get an update to the 24-inch iMac, again with the M2 chip, followed by a redesign of the MacBook Air. This one would put in its chassis the new M2 chip that many rumors are talking about.
For those who want something more powerful, Mark Gurman reiterates that the Cupertino-based company should release a larger – and therefore more powerful – iMac Pro later this year, a machine that will offer an M1 Pro or Max chip, and also half Mac Pro with M1 Max chips 2 to 4.
Of course, this information should be taken with a pinch of salt, even if it comes from a journalist who very often hits the mark. But if you’re looking for a new Mac to buy this year, it looks like you’re spoiled for choice.
