Paramount+ is full of Star Trek announcements. The second season of Star Trek: Stranger New Worlds premieres on June 15.
Star Trek fans now know when they can experience the new adventures of Captain Christopher Pike. Paramount+ has announced that the second season of Star Trek: Stranger New Worlds will air on June 15, with new episodes airing every Thursday. Although the streaming service hasn’t elaborated on this new season’s story, aside from the fact that there will be a crossover with Star Trek: Lower Decks, fans will have 10 episodes and the show has already been renewed for a third season.

Meanwhile, fans of the animated series based in the United States will be able to enjoy the 4th season of Lower Decks in August, with the fifth season in the making. In these new episodes, the crew of the USS Ceritos will be attacked by “malicious computers”locked in caves and fighting aliens from all over the galaxy.
The second season of Star Trek: Stranger New Worlds will air on June 15.
The second season of the animated children’s series Star Trek: The Prodigy is due out in early winter. Finally, the fifth and final season of Star Trek: Discovery will release in early 2024, this tentative date has not changed.
These two renewal confirmations are not a surprise. If Paramount+ is now much more known and recognized than Star Trek, the iconic sci-fi franchise remains one of the service’s main attractions, it must be admitted. Strange New Worlds, and the lower decks in particular, have been very successful. With Picard retiring in April, the remaining productions should keep the flame going. Good item for trekking around the world!
