Oppo has released a new smartphone in the Reno 7 line – Oppo Reno 7A. Reno 7A debuted in Japan and is a 5G smartphone. The all-new Reno 7A is a mid-range smartphone powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It offers a 90Hz AMOLED display and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Oppo Reno 7A comes in a single configuration – 6GB + 128GB, priced at 44,800 yen. It is already available for purchase in the Japanese market. Oppo has not yet announced the availability of the phone in other regions.

The Reno 7A offers a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 600 nits. It has a DT Star 2 protective glass and supports 180Hz touch sampling rate.

The latest Reno device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor and Adreno 619 GPU. It comes paired with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS2.2 storage. The phone also has a dedicated micro-SD card slot for further storage expansion. The phone boots ColorOS 12 based on Android 11.

The Reno 7A is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. The latest Reno smartphone uses a 16-megapixel front camera.

The all-new Reno 7A packs a 4,500mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Type-C charging port. It also has an IPX8 rating, making it waterproof and dustproof.

The Reno 7A comes in Starry Black and Dream Blue color options and weighs around 175 grams. In terms of connectivity, it offers dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Glonass, Galileo and Beidou.
