Vivo has added a new smartphone to its Y-series – Vivo Y72t 5G. Vivo Y72t debuts in the Chinese market and is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity processor. The all-new Y-Series features a large Full HD+ display with waterdrop notch. The phone is equipped with a 50-megapixel rear camera.

Vivo Y72t 5G: price and availability
Vivo Y72t comes in two configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. The base variant of the Vivo phone costs 1,399 yuan. Whereas, the 256GB storage option is priced at 1,599 Yuan.
Vivo Y72t is already available in China. Vivo has yet to reveal the phone’s global availability.
Vivo Y72t 5G: specs and features
The Vivo Y72t features a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a pixel density of 401 ppi and an aspect ratio of 20:9. This is a standard panel with a 60Hz refresh rate that allows you to place the selfie camera inside the waterdrop notch.
Under the hood of the Vivo Y-series phone is a MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor and an integrated Mali G57 GPU. It comes paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS storage. The device boots OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11.
The Vivo Y72t is equipped with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, the Y72t relies on an 8-megapixel front camera. Vivo Y72t is equipped with a 6000mAh battery and 18W fast charging support.
Vivo Y72t comes in three color options: Interstellar Powder, Deep Sea Black and Blue Sea. It offers a Type-C charging port and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone weighs 200 grams and measures 163.87 x 75.33 x 9.17mm.
