Call of Duty Modern Warfare II Gameplay Trailer Released – Campaign, Multiplayer Details & More

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II launches October 23, 2022 and is the sequel to the most successful COD to date, 2019’s Modern Warfare. The game has just released a new gameplay trailer, showing off many interesting locations and missions from the single player campaign.

The studio details several new formula improvements that players will find in Modern Warfare II, such as a new hybrid tile-based streaming system, volumetric world lighting, and a new GPU geometry pipeline. All of these new features serve what Infinity Ward calls a major cinematic campaign.

Multiplayer has received a major overhaul in the form of a new, redesigned gunsmith that offers more customization than ever before.

The game releases on October 28, 2022, Infinity Ward and Activision have already confirmed that Warzone 2.0 will release later this year. However, one of the most exciting additions to the COD lineup is Warzone for mobile, which is currently in development.

Infinity Ward is also making it clear that there’s a lot more to come, which they’ll probably reveal at a later date. Pre-orders for Modern Warfare II are available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC Battle.net and Steam. Pre-ordering now will give players access to the game’s Early Access Open Beta, along with several other in-game items.

The game’s single-player campaign will follow the iconic Task Force 141 as players will be able to experience the team’s growth in a whole new way. In the 2019 reboot, Infinity Ward has reintroduced Task Force 141, and the sequel will pick up where the last one left off.

Special Ops is also returning to Call of Duty along with a multiplayer and single player campaign and will usher in a “new era”of COD for players.
