PUBG Battlegrounds Update 17.2 Released: Spotter Scope Nerf, 1v1 Arena, Battle Pass & More

PUBG Battlegrounds’ latest update, Update 17.2, will be available for consoles and PC soon, and it will bring a whole host of new things to the game, as well as regular fixes and balancing updates. Krafton has released patch notes for the update, and it fixes some of the more persistent issues with the inventory system that caused an error when participating in 1v1 Arena twice in a row.

One of the new additions to PUBG Battlegrounds in the latest update was the addition of the Spotter Scope, which brought some issues with it. The Spotter Scope turned out to be extremely powerful, so it got pretty nerfed.

Spotter Scope enemy detection range has now been changed from 1000m to 600m, and the white passive marker will not automatically appear in ADS mode.
