The first episode of the musical narrative game about indie pop band OFK will release on August 18 on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
The five-part musical biopic We are OFK follows the sometimes funny, sometimes tragic, but always entertaining misadventures of four friends as they try to break into the music business as OFK’s soon-to-be popular indie band. In addition to the storyline, players will also find an interactive clip of a new OFK song in each episode, culminating in a five-song debut EP to be released later this year by Sony Music Masterworks.
In addition to releasing limited physical versions for PS5 and Nintendo Switch featuring OFK Debug’s adorable luminous cat 3D paper, art production company iam8bit will also be releasing a 2xLP vinyl for music lovers.We have the entire OFK debut EP written and produced by Luna Shadows and Thom Powers (of The Naked and Famous). In addition, we’ve added artwork for each single from OFK, with artwork that captures the spirit of the game’s signature interactive clips, as well as exclusive acoustic tracks. It also contains selections from the original We Are OFK score produced by Omniboi with Nicole Brady and the Wldr Ensemble. These songs make up the game’s soundtrack and are the perfect musical accompaniment to relax or get down to business and serious creative work.
