Xiaomi is preparing to launch several new flagship phones. The company is working on the Xiaomi 12 series as well as the Xiaomi 12 Ultra phones. In the past, we have seen Xiaomi 12S pop up on Geekbench listing revealing key specs, and similarly, Xiaomi 12S Pro has been spotted on 3C’s website revealing the device’s charging speed. On the other hand, design renders of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra have been leaked, giving us a glimpse of the upcoming flagship phone from the house of Xiaomi.
While we expect the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Ultra series to be launched in the coming weeks, popular leaker Mukul Sharma has revealed some of the specs of the Xiaomi 12S series including CPU, RAM, memory and charging speed. Let’s look at the details.
Xiaomi 12S Series RAM, Storage, SoC Tipped
According to Mukul, Xiaomi 12S Pro comes in two versions with two different chipset options. The first version will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and will reportedly come in three configurations: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. This will also support 120W fast charging. On the other hand, Xiaomi 12S Pro will also have a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC variant with 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB configurations. The charging speed of this variant was not disclosed, but it could also have the same 120W output.

Additionally, the vanilla Xiaomi 12S is expected to feature Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and come in 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB configurations, according to the leaker. This device will support 67W fast charging based on the previous listing on the 3C website.
As for other specs, the Xiaomi 12S Pro is likely to feature an LTPO 2.0 screen with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. In terms of camera, the phone is expected to feature a 50MP triple camera on the back. The Xiaomi 12S is expected to come with a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 50MP main camera, and finally, there are rumors that the entire 12S series could come with the Leica brand as the company recently announced a partnership with Leica.
