Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi is likely working on a budget flagship phone. Earlier this month, two phones of this brand with model numbers 2201123C and 2112123AC were found on the certification site, and now a phone with model number 2112123AC has been found on the TENAA certification site in China. The TENAA listing reveals some of the features of the phone, and the most important features of the phone are Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC and 67W fast charging. We have recently heard claims of a rather simple name for their upcoming devices, with the Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro and 12 Ultra called L2, L1A and L1. Similarly, L10, L10A, L11 and L11R refer to phones from the Redmi K50 series, although the exact phone names are not known yet.
The phone with model number 2112123AC is expected to be the L3A variant of the Xiaomi 12 line, Xiaomi 12 Mini. The phone may be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870. However, nothing is known about the device.
However, leaker Mukul Sharma shared his thoughts on the upcoming Xiaomi phone with the same Snapdragon 870 charging and 67W power but with better cameras. He also mentioned that the company will introduce the phone to global markets and we can expect it to arrive in India as well.
However, it is still unclear whether the phone with model number 2112123AC is the one everyone is talking about or something else. It could be the Xiaomi 12 Mini, but no one has been able to establish a strong link between the model number 2112123AC or the Xiaomi 12 Mini or the rumored hardware specifications.
It is now well known that the company is launching the latest flagships very soon and new reports claim that there is a Xiaomi 12 Ultra Enhanced Edition which will be the same as the 12 Ultra but with an in-display fingerprint scanner. As such, it could be pretty close to the upcoming Redmi K50 family. Key specs of the two devices were leaked today, revealing a 50MP camera and a Snapdragon 888 processor on board.
