Xiaomi TWS 3 Pro is supposed to be the latest wireless earbuds from the company and is expected to be released early next week on September 27th. It is expected to be released as the latest pair of wireless stereo headphones from the company, and the Xiaomi brand instead of Redmi suggests that the company sees it as a premium product. Ahead of launch, a teaser Weibo post has confirmed that the Xiaomi TWS 3 Pro will offer active noise cancellation up to 40dB, which is higher than the typical budget of true wireless earbuds.
However, little is known about the Xiaomi TWS 3 Pro stereo headphones. Its sound and battery specs have yet to be revealed, though the promotional poster gives us a pretty clear idea of what it should be. The TWS 3 Pro appears to have a very similar design to the Apple AirPods Pro, with a rectangular charging case with rounded corners. The earbuds themselves are also reminiscent of the AirPods Pro, with an angled earbud design and an elongated stem that supports the fit of the earbuds. A black color option is confirmed to be offered, while a single LED on the charging case will likely serve as a charging and pairing indicator.
Reports suggest that the Xiaomi TWS 3 Pro Earphones may be similar to the company’s FlipBuds Pro Earbuds that were released earlier this year. Should this happen, the TWS 3 Pro may come with features such as Qualcomm aptX adaptive compatibility for high resolution audio playback, as well as a low latency mode to ensure minimal latency when playing competitive games. There’s no word yet on the driver setup of the upcoming earbuds or the battery life they’ll ship with, or whether the charging case might have features like wireless charging compatibility.
The headphones are expected to be released alongside the launch of the Xiaomi CIVI smartphone at an event on September 27th. The CIVI line is expected to be a rebranded version of the former Mi CC series of flagship phones sold in China, and the smartphone in question sounds very similar to the Xiaomi 11X Pro sold in India. It will be interesting to see if Xiaomi brings new true wireless earbuds.
